Assessor
The Town of Kirkwood is accepting resumes for the position of Assessor. This is a part-time position based on approximately 270 hours per year. The successful candidate must be a current NYS certified Assessor. Must have the knowledge and ability to perform real property valuation, including the collection of new real property improvements annually and update RPS, process transfer and review deeds for accuracy. Must have the ability to administer real property tax exemptions mandated by NYS, attend grievance & SCAR hearings, testify in court regarding assessments and any related work as required.
