Town of Kirkwood Historian Sam Borruso, Historian Phone: (607) 775-1130 Overview The Historian’s Office acquires, preserves and makes available for public use material relating to Kirkwood’s History. Oral histories, photographs, diary translations, physical artifacts, historical records, cemetery records, and family histories are some of the materials actively pursued for safekeeping and sharing. Several articles have been published and copies are available at the Town Clerk’s Office. The Historian’s Office also provides advice, encouragement, and participates in the activities of the Kirkwood Historical Society. The intent is to encourage and maintain a wide interest and sense of history throughout the community.
